blending tutorial

First open up the 2 pictures you want to blend. I'm using these of Natalie Portman.



Okay, so depending on the size of the image, you'll need to make a new document. My images are 250px in width, so mine is going to be 440 x 331. So go to

FILE >> NEW

Now go to one of your pictures and copy it (EDIT >> COPY or press ctrl+ C) then paste it as a new layer in the new document (EDIT >> PASTE AS NEW LAYER or press ctrl+ E). Do the same thing with the other picture. Then place one of the pics so it overlaps onto the other one.

So your picture should look something like this:



Next click on your eraser tool

Now match your settings to mine:



Now on your top layer of the new document, erase along the edge of the photo like this:



After you've done that, the picture should now look blended and you're all done!:)
