color in black & white photo tutorial
Learn this transition
1. First open up the picture you want
2. Now duplicate your picture (LAYERS >> DUPLICATE)
2. So now you're going to make the picture black and white. Go to EFFECTS >> PHOTO EFFECTS >> BLACK AND WHITE FILM and click OK
Your layers should look like this:
3. Now go to your eraser tool. The size is depending on the size of the picture, but make sure the HARDNESS is set to 50. On the top layer (the black & white one) erase along the clothing or other objects in the picture you want to be colored.
Your picture should somewhat look like this and start to have the effect:
4. After you've erased everything to be color, merge all your layers (LAYERS >> MERGE >> MERGE ALL (FLATTEN)), add some text and you're all done!:)
